That’s not the way to Cedar City

The next hotel was in Cedar City, but we had to do a quick detour north before we could start on the way down to Cedar City. We had a museum we wanted to visit…

Big metal birds

The main thing on the plan for the day, was the cache GCGZCN What hill? and the Hill Aerospace Museum. We almost got Garmined (a term we learned on this trip), when the Nüvicam tried to get us to drive through Hill AFB to get to the museum. But we found a better way.

The museum was awesome! So we had to spend a lot more time than we needed to “find” the virtual cache.

Not much muggles here either, so we got to enjoy this cool museum without having to bump into people everywhere.

A royal burger

A couple caches later, it was time to test Crown Burger. We had planned to test it last year, but ended up not doing it. The place was full of people, and we get why – this burger was good!

Virtuals, virtuals, virtuals

We’ve driven this stretch of I-15 many times before, but we still have a lot of virtuals to find along the way. Some are new, but Utah has a lot of virtual caches! And we love finding virtual caches, so we had a relatively long list of them.

Trying again

The last virtual of the day, was GCG5HX Benjamin’s Bell, which we were supposed to find in 2017. We somehow forgot this cache the last time, so we just had to try again now. And this time we remembered 😀

How did this happen?

Since this was the Friday of the Labor Day Weekend, we did expect the traffic to be kinda bad. It was at times, but a lot better than it could have been! So we somehow managed to arrive at the hotel almost two hours before scheduled arrival!
