Early up

The first flight was early, almost too early on a Saturday. But we managed to get up, and get to the airport in time. Perfect flying weather, or at least so we think. We slept all the way across the mountain 😀

A lot of time to spend

We had a lot of time to spend, both at Gardermoen and in Munich. So we decided to go outside to find the cache in Munich. Directly outside the terminal, and a surprisingly easy find (once you read the hint properly). One of the better airport caches we’ve found.

Strange hotel

We eventually made it to Madrid, after a couple of comfortable flights (with emergency exit seats, and food – Lufthansa rocks!). We had booked a hotel inside the terminal, but not the terminal we landed at. So first we had to transfer to Terminal 4, and then we had to find the hotel. We eventually found it – a “box” on the lowest floor of the terminal building. This is the first time we’ve stayed at a hotel like this! Very strange, no windows, and no airport noise.
