Starting the day with a virtual cache

We had a couple virtuals left to find in Seattle, so we started the day with GC7B665 HQGT: Gas Works Park. The weather wasn’t the best, but that also meant that we had the entire park to ourselves!

A visit to HQ

Since cachetur.no is an API partner, and we’re not in Seattle that often, we had a meeting scheduled at HQ. So we spent the first half of the day there. The lackies are awesome people, and even if we don’t agree with all they do, they are working hard to make the game better for all of us. It was nice just getting to chat with the people that help make all of this possible.

Museum of Flight

We’ve visited the Museum of Flight before, but we enjoyed it so much that we wanted to go back now. And we also wanted to make sure we found GC5GT6J Spaceflight Academy, since it has a very special attribute we needed 😉

The cache was awesome, and so was the rest of the museum! There’s so many cool airplanes to look at, and way more to see than we could manage in the time we got. Guess we have to come back! Probably the coolest experience of the day, was the tour inside the Space Shuttle trainer – that was awesome!

Another virtual

We had one last virtual to find this day, GC7B6Y9 johnson pit no. 30. Since it was relatively late by the time we got here (as planned), we didn’t have that much more planned along the way.

Traffic, again

We had a couple caches to find halfway, but ended up spending more time stuck in traffic. Just like every other time we drive I-5. But luckily it wasn’t too bad, and didn’t slow us down too much.

Just a few more

We had a couple caches near the hotel on our plan, and also took a quick stop to shop some more supplies. Not the longest day of the trip, but still a very interesting day!
